Since going to Mexico in March, my eyes have been opened and heart transformed. It's hard to live in the states where no one is thankful, everything is taken for granted, food is something we expect, an family is something we deserve.
All 30 of the kids at Casa were orphans at one point in time. But when they were brought to Casa they learned what having a family meant, what love was & would will never be left alone again.
On our way to Casa we got to see the way people live. We saw their houses that were made out of quite literally anything they could find in the trash. But yet they were THANKFUL. They didn't have food to eat every night of the week but they were THANKFUL.
Thankfulness is Key.
