So often times I like to look at my little brothers in awe of how much life & love, laughter, & personality they have. How none of them are the same, they are all different. There is so much wonder & life in just one of them, it's amazing to try & fathom how God came up with millions of different personalities. None alike but all different.
Millions of personalities that God spoke to be, every little detail, every food that we would like & dislike, everything. He thought of it all. But do you ever wonder about those personalities, those bodies that are almost lifeless, the ones who have never truly experienced the person God made them to be? Because the have never had free rain over what foods they will like and the ones that they would spit out the second it touched their tongue. Or how about whether they would prefer a lovey blanket or a stuffed animal...Or maybe nothing at all. Are they independent or laid back. Entertaining and funny or quite and shy. Trouble maker or listener. As it stand right now...They have no clue. Life as they know it is sedated, unloved and neglected. They are fed the same mush everyday, so whether they like it or not it's what they are forced to eat. There is no lovey, or stuffed animal. They have no choice to choose any of this. Their fate is chosen for them. These beautiful kids...forced to waste their precious lives, & never know what life is like outside of those orphanage walls.
I'm not talking about "Typical" kids, but instead kids like Hugh.
Wyatt
Anna
Orielle
So many more kids then just these four have their fate decided for them. They are being "Held Captive" in a place that no child should ever have to set foot in. But at birth this is where they are sent. They cannot leave until they are adopted. Adopted by a family who wants to know their personalities, the foods they will like and dislike, whether they will have a lovey or an animal, will they be outgoing and full of energy or laid back and calm. A family that wants to show these kids love. To put life back into their lifeless bodies, and wonder back into their eyes.
Do you ever wonder these things?
God Bless,
Alyssa
