Mexico Trip #2!

I have the opportunity to go down to Mexico again, in 10 days.  I just heard about this opportunity yesterday.  In order for me to go down to Mexico 2 things need to happen.  First off I need to find out if one of my really good guy friends is going down as well (Makes my dad feel better about me going down with out one of my brothers.)  I also need $450 dollars.   I don't have a job so you may be wondering "How is she going to get $450 dollars in less then 10 days?"  My answer to the question is faith.  I am having faith in God.  If God wants me to go down on this trip He will provide people that are willing to donate money to get me down there.

Last Mexico trip, I have no money & needed $375 in about 2 weeks.  God provided that money in 3 days.  Yes you read that right...3 DAYS.  I was fully funded!!  Awesome right?  So I am praying my heart out & trust God.  If it's His will He will provide for me!  So if you are willing to donate money (Any amount helps, whether it be $2 or $50 it ALL helps!)  leave me a comment!  Once I find out if my guy friend Cj is going I will put a Chip-In up.  So keep checking back!!

Thank you, everyone for helping me out on this journey!  I really hope I can go back down & visit all of the orphans at Casa again!

God Bless,
Alyssa

Maxim

Today while looking through the pages of kids on Reece's Rainbow, scanning the faces of children I have seen hundreds of times.  Not to many new kids, but the same ones that have been there for months.  I felt drawn to the older kids section, the older boys to be specific.  I was looking through the page & at their handsome faces.  I came across a sweet boy named Maxim, 10 years old & still waiting for that forever family to come to his rescue.

10 years is a long time to be waiting, for a family.  You can see the life & excitement in Max's eyes, you can see a wonderful personality that is just waiting to jump out & you can see the want for a family to call his own.

This is the want of a big sisters heart, a love for a boy that I wish to have as my own brother.  I know my family doesn't meet these requirement for his region.  So I need Max's family to step up & bring him home.
He needs someone that is gonna love him forever, except him for the adorable boy that he is & show him what it means to be loved.   He needs out of the place he is in.  How can you resist a boy as sweet as Max?
His eyes just take you in & captivate you, they steal your heart, & make you fall in love.
So to Max's family:  Could you step up & get your boy?  You would make me one extremely happy big sister.  Don't make Max wait any longer.  Please.

Momma & Papa I'm waiting!

So this is my heart, this is my want for Max.   I want him to have a family.

Your son is waiting! :)

Do you wonder what I wonder?

So often times I like to look at my little brothers in awe of how much life & love, laughter, & personality they have.  How none of them are the same, they are all different.   There is so much wonder & life in just one of them, it's amazing to try & fathom how God came up with millions of different personalities.  None alike but all different.

Millions of personalities that God spoke to be, every little detail, every food that we would like & dislike, everything.  He thought of it all.   But do you ever wonder about those personalities, those bodies that are almost lifeless, the ones who have never truly experienced the person God made them to be?   Because the have never had free rain over what foods they will like and the ones that they would spit out the second it touched their tongue. Or how about whether they would prefer a lovey blanket or a stuffed animal...Or maybe nothing at all.  Are they independent or laid back.   Entertaining and funny or quite and shy.  Trouble maker or listener.   As it stand right now...They have no clue.  Life as they know it is sedated, unloved and neglected.   They are fed the same mush everyday, so whether they like it or not it's what they are forced to eat.  There is no lovey, or stuffed animal.  They have no choice to choose any of this.  Their fate is chosen for them.  These beautiful kids...forced to waste their precious lives, & never know what life is like outside of those orphanage walls.

I'm not talking about "Typical" kids, but instead kids like Hugh.

Orielle

So many more kids then just these four have their fate decided for them.  They are being "Held Captive" in a place that no child should ever have to set foot in.   But at birth this is where they are sent.  They cannot leave until they are adopted.  Adopted by a family who wants to know their personalities, the foods they will like and dislike, whether they will have a lovey or an animal, will they be outgoing and full of energy or laid back and calm.  A family that wants to show these kids love.  To put life back into their lifeless bodies, and wonder back into their eyes.

Do you ever wonder these things?

God Bless,
Alyssa
