What does lonely mean to you...

The word lonely what does it mean to you?  Do you know what it means to be truly lonely?  Some of us may but most of us have no clue what it's like to be truly lonely.  All of us know what it's like to be alone, but we always have someone there, just a text, call, Facebook message, or a few feet away.  We always no that someone is there.  We take great advantage of that.   I think that very few people in the U.S no what it's like to truly be lonely.

To truly be lonely, there has to be no one there, no one that cares about you.  No one that you can call on when you feel down, no one to hug & kiss you.  No one to tell you that you are loved & tell you what you are worth.  We all have that & all know we have that.  Even though sometimes we don't want to admit it.  We all have it.

These Kids...

Know the feeling...

Of lonely...

It's normal to them...

They know nothing more...

Then lonely...

Cruel huh? All of these kids, precious children that should be being loved, hugged & living life to it's fullest.  But yet all that they know is how un-wanted they are.  The know what lonely feels like.  They have no one to call, text, or cuddle with when they're down.  They have nothing.  They need us to be their voices & speak up for them. To reach out to them. To be their comfort...To take away the feeling of loneliness.  You may say that you are only one...That you can't do anything because you don't have the money or time.  But put yourself in the position of these kids. Stare at there picture & name off all of the reasons why you can't save them.  Be the reason that these kids never have to feel lonely ever again.  Matthew 25:40 "The king will reply 'Truly I tell you whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers & sisters of mine you did for me.'  You call yourself a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, therefore you are to obey what the Bible directs you to do Correct?  "Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows what we know, & holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12 Convicted yet?  Felling a heavy heart?  That is God saying "Act on what I have called YOU to do."  Throw away the excuses & act.

Send Me Out!

Next Friday...11 days from today. I will be leaving for Mexico!  I will be driving to Mexico to spend a week with the orphans!  The amount of excitement inside of my "small" body is amazing!  I cannot wait to be able to connect with the orphans, to see who will attach to me, to have my heart changed tremendously!  What a great gift it is to be able so show love to these kids!

The stories that I have heard, the amazing memories that my friends & brothers have from going down there.  I love hearing about the kids, & how the attach to you... My 2 older brothers & some friends taught a little girl anmed Elizabeth how to say "Wow"  that was probably the only English word she could say.  For the rest of the time they were there everything from her was "wow" :)  How funny is hat?

One of the little girls absolutely LOVED Luke!  The pictures from these trips that I get to see are amazing! I cannot wait to be down there.  Ellyn & I have made flower hair clips for the girls & we have also made some "Te Amo" bracelets (Te Amo is "I love you" In spanish) That is part that I am most looking forward to is giving them those "Te Amo" bracelets & seeing there faces.  Seeing those kids understand that we do love them!  The only hard part of this trip will be leaving when the week is over...I am most certain I will cry.  I am gonna want to stay down there & never come back!

Here are some pictures of the bracelets & Hair clips we have made!

"Amigo" means Friend.

"Bonita" means Beautiful.

"Te Amo" means "I Love You"

& now the whole box of things we made! :)
